Un dúo muy especial
El fagot es un instrumento que siempre me ha gustado mucho, y me hace mucha ilusión ofrecer esta propuesta de repertorio con Bea. El fagot, igual que el cello, tiene un registro que se aproxima mucho al del canto de la voz humana, lo cual hace que sus piezas fácilmente sean muy líricas y emocionantes.
Sobre Bea Uraga
Beatriz Uraga se ha formado como fagotista en el Conservatorio Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga y como maestra de Educación Primaria en la Universidad de Deusto. Ha participado en agrupaciones como la Euskadiko Ikasleen Orkestra (EIO), el ensemble BASSBOE y la Zornotzako Musika Banda, y ha tocado en el Palacio Euskalduna como parte de la Kontzertu Aurreko Musika y el Festival Musika-Música.
Posteriormente, ha obtenido el Máster en Pedagogía Musical en la UNIR con media de sobresaliente, y actualmente es maestra de Piano, Lenguaje Musical y Estimulación Musical Temprana en diversos centros. Además, ha recibido una beca del Gobierno Vasco para el Programa de Emprendimiento Juvenil de la Universidad de Deusto, gracias a la cual dedica parte de su tiempo al desarrollo de Juegos Pulpi, un proyecto de juegos de mesa para aprender música.
Aparte de su carrera musical, cabe destacar su talento y gusto por la literatura, en la que ha recibido premios como el Zuzeu Gazte Saria de la Fundación Azkue y el XIX Concurso de Cuentos sin Fronteras de Otxarkoaga.
Repertorio
La combinación de fagot y piano esconde obras preciosas en un repertorio desconocido y no tan amplio como en otras agrupaciones o instrumentos. En nuestra baraja incluimos a compositores como Mouquet o Dvarionas, así como la sonatas de Galliard o Hindemith.

A very special duet
The bassoon is an instrument that I have always liked very much, and I am very excited to offer this repertoire proposal with Bea. The bassoon, like the cello, has a register that is very close to that of the human voice, which makes her pieces easily very lyrical and exciting.
About Bea Uraga
Beatriz Uraga trained as a bassoonist at the Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga Conservatory and as a primary school teacher at the University of Deusto. She has participated in ensembles such as the Euskadiko Ikasleen Orkestra (EIO), the BASSBOE ensemble and the Zornotzako Musika Banda, and has played at the Palacio Euskalduna as part of the Kontzertu Aurreko Musika and the Musika-Música Festival.
Subsequently, she obtained a Master’s Degree in Music Pedagogy at the UNIR with an average of «A», and is currently a teacher of Piano, Musical Language and Early Musical Stimulation in various centres. She has also received a grant from the Basque Government for the Youth Entrepreneurship Programme of the University of Deusto, thanks to which she dedicates part of her time to the development of Juegos Pulpi, a board game project for learning music.
Apart from his musical career, it is worth mentioning his talent and taste for literature, in which he has received awards such as the Zuzeu Gazte Saria from the Azkue Foundation and the 19th Otxarkoaga Tales without Borders Competition.
Repertoire
The combination of bassoon and piano conceals precious works in an unknown repertoire that is not as wide-ranging as in other ensembles or instruments. Our repertoire includes composers such as Mouquet or Dvarionas, as well as sonatas by Galliard or Hindemith.
